Synopsis

The documentary film "Uma Mulher e o Vinho" will explore the life and professional journey of the winemaker Maria Luz Marin, from her childhood, professional training, and entire development process that culminated in the creation of Casa Marin winery and her success in the wine world. Amidst the life story of the first female winemaker to work in Chile's private industry, the film will showcase Maria Luz's struggle to assert herself in a predominantly male world and overcome difficulties, becoming a pioneer in wine cultivation in the Lo Abarca region.

Positioning Maria Luz's path and success in the wine industry, the documentary will also highlight a bit of Chile's history, its wines, and the Lo Abarca region where the protagonist spent her childhood. In adulthood, together with her family, she built a world-renowned reference for producing high-quality wines.
